言う is translated to "to go".

It would be nice to have an option to start by directly prompting a kanji with an empty canvas, and only going through the learning steps if we mess up on the first encounter.

For people that already learnt kanji by recognition (which should be a majority), this would speed up the learning process tremendously, especially for the simpler kanji.

Need to figure out a way to do this without a bad user experience. Idea: Add new options for "fail immediately" and "default success state"

According to DynamiteGazelle on Reddit, Ringotan disables music that's playing in the background when it plays audio.  It should not do that.

Example:   - 下 - した   - 本 - ほん   - 中 - なか

Hi, I use Nihongo Soumatome as my main textbook for Kanji and others. It would be helpful if you can add lesson plan based on this book. Thank you!

It covers the basic hiragana and katakana which is good, but it doesn't cover voiced syllables, i.e. going from ka to ga. It would be useful having them all in one place instead using this app for the basic ones and elsewhere for the others. Would it also be worth adding the smaller versions as well? Even though they're the same, getting the size right would be important too, especially to be able to write つ and っ properly so they're differentiable for example.

A handful of jinmeiyou kanji aren't used in any actual words (making them not currently supported). And a lot of the ones that are are so rare we shouldn't be using them as prompts.  It'd be better to use names for prompts instead, the way they're actually used.

Curently backups are saved in hard to access directories, and involve connecting to a computer to transfer them between devices.

Having an option to export the backup through the device's share menu (like send to mail, send to Telegram, etc, or simply to save the file to a place of your choice) like many other apps do, would make it a lot easier when using multiple devices.

Finished a review, missing several kanji. In the next review, first kanji was the same as the last kanji from the previous one!

Hi, first of all: great app so far!

I noticed however, that when using the "show wrong/actual strokes" button (X on bottom left), only the last drawn stroke of a Kanji is shown. I would like to directly compare all my actual strokes with the "ideal" Kanji to see the deviations

I have the radicals explanation function on. When I try to tap the top radical for 責, the app briefly freezes, then exits.
