Lower minimum "Kanji Per Lesson"

It seems like the lowest setting results in 7 new kanji, if there are no scheduled reviews. But as someone without visual memory (a.k.a. aphantasia) learning ideograms is somewhat challenging, so I would really appreciate if there was an even lower setting. Personally I think a limit of 3 new kanji would be ideal.

Very soon (but not in the next update), I plan on adding a setting for new kanji per day.  The setting will be fractional, so you could even input 0.5 (one every two days) if you want. I think that would solve your issue?

In the meanwhile, you can try only adding new kanji using the "custom review" screen, and hitting "review only" on the lessons screen.

I'm going to close this as a duplicate of the above. Please let me know if you don't think that would solve your problem.

Do you mean that it would add the configured number of kanji, regardless of how much one uses the app? I.e. if I skip a few days there'd be more waiting for me when I come back?

I guess it might work if I set it low enough, but currently I feel it depends on how much time and energy I have, so my pace is quite irregular. Though if I can fully control the addition of new kanji using the custom review I think that might be the method I'll use.

Might add that I'm using the app about 75% just to train my memory, and 25% because it would be fun to know some Japanese :) I'm not actively learning the language at the moment, if I did I might be more motivated to have a steady pace and introduce new kanji every day. It's quite fun though.
