I am using the japanese for busy people textbook, but the order in which the kanji are presented does not match the order in the textbook. Do I misunderstand something?
When I search for kanji by chapter there is no relation that I can see between what is in the book, and what I am permitted to choose.

How will my reviews change. I assume I will retain the items that I have in progress, and now receive the new lessons in the correct order. Right?

Yep, volumes 2 & 3. And that's correct, the app is built to allow you to change kanji lesson ordering at any time.

Thanks. This sounds plausible. Books cannot be identified uniquely by title, you need edition and sometimes printing too.
I have second editions of both volumes, and will try to transcribe the kanji for you.

I was able to get a copy of the third edition and updated the kanji list already. It will be in the next release (0.22 I think, which I'll try to push out this weekend)
Hmm. My dataset comes from KanjiDic, which is what most English-Japanese apps/resources use. For example, if you look up 肉 on Jisho and click "Dictionary Indicies", it shows "Japanese for Busy People: 2.1" despite the fact that that kanji is not used anywhere in Japanese for Busy People II.
I suspect it comes from an older edition of the textbook. I have a coworker with the newer editions of the first two books - I'll try to borrow them, and find a copy of the third, and see if I can update the list.
(If you're able to transcribe the kanji for each chapter for me, that would help a ton and greatly expedite this)
