Would love to have the ability to adjust new kanji and reviews separately

I prefer studying at a slower pace while reviewing more often, so I would love to have a way to review many kanji while only seeing few new ones

I'm not sure I understand this suggestion.

  • If you have some reviews lapsed, but few enough that the app is still recommending learning new kanji, there is already a "Review only" button that will only give you the reviews, not the new kanji
  • If you only want new kanji where there are few-to-no reviews ready, you can set "kanji per lesson" to "few" in the options.  This gives you fewer reviews per session too (it does NOT change how frequently kanji are reviewed), but after a session it asks if you'd like to review ahead, which you can do indefinitely.
  • If you only want to review a specific set of kanji, there's already a "custom review" screen that allows you to do so

Is there a need that's not satisfied by any of these?

I think that my maybe my problem is actually specifically with the custom review itself (not really a problem per se), that i would like to have the option for the app to chose random kanji for me to review, instead of me chosing them manually (since for me it can feel a bit like "cheating" when seeing how the kanji looks before reviewing it)

@Niro Hmm, it's currently possible to review ahead for as long as desired, but only after doing all your current reviews (meaning if there are no reviews available, it's not possible).
