I showed my kanji professor this app recently and we have discovered two issues:
1. There is a missing kanji in unit 25 between 特 and 低, which is 県.
2. The way of writing 冷 is outdated, it should be written like the way the kanji is typed, but just to be sure, I will add an image. Could this be changed?

I checked a number of references, including Jisho, kaku-navi, and Japanese Wiktionary, and they all agree on the handwritten version of 冷. I also found this official jouyou kanji text which also agrees with the other sources (pg 9).
Do you have any sources showing that that handwritten version is outdated?
I just checked with another Japanese professor and she said both writings are correct, so I will rescind this comment, apologies! Apparently the kanji professor prefers if we use the non-handwriting version, but both are fine.
I've updated the "Minna No Nihongo" kanji list in v0.24. Thanks for the report!
I'll leave this ticket open for a while, awaiting response for the other thing.
